Chinese Man Tries To Rape Woman On Busy Tokyo Street In Broad Daylight

On August 28 a Chinese man was seen assaulting a woman on a busy Tokyo street. After pushing her down to the ground, he tried to rape her in broad daylight.

According to reports, the man, a Chinese national, attacked his ex-girlfriend after a failed attempt at reconciliation. The incident happened in front of an exit of Ikebukuro Station, the second-busiest railway station in the world.

The woman, whose nationality is unknown, tried to defend herself and shouted for help. Video footage taken by pedestrians shows passers-by running towards the assailant. Pictures of the assault were later shared on Twitter.
